A visit from members of our local Barnados
On Wednesday last week seven children and two workers from Barnados came for a tour of the Centre. They were all happy to be here and comments were heard like "Amazing" and "This place is great". They walked around the Stupa and the Ksitigarbha statue which was a particular favourite as they had already seen it from the highway. This Ksitigarbha statue was kindly donated by the Quan Ming Temple in Melbourne.
On Saturday we had a workshop on the Four Seals of Buddhism. This was well attended and there were lively discussions on impermanence, afflictive emotions, happiness, emptiness and peace. Thank you all for coming!
